South East Asian Cultural Arts Festival
This annual summer festival features a section of underrepresented cultures of the Lower Mainland. The festival was started in 2008 by Brent Matsuda in Vancouver BC, who decided to reintroduce an old practice of local SE Asian martial arts groups which would gather together for annual joint training events during the 90’s. SEACAF has since grown in popularity and participation from various representatives of diverse cultural disciplines in martial arts, music and dance.
SEACAF is a free all-ages event and attendees are invited to participate in the workshops that are offered throughout the day. For more information please visit: www.monsoonsociety.org
